PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has praised the work done by long-serving Works Ministry deputy secretary-general (policy and development) Zahrul Hakim Abdullah.

The former transport minister attended the recent Dewan Rakyat Infrastructure, Transport and Communication Select Committee meeting chaired by Tanjong Manis MP Haji Yusuf Abdul Wahab and complimented the detailed and strenuous work done by Zahrul.

"Zahrul led the senior officers to give a comprehensive presentation on the work scope and functions of each agency under the ministry, along with the projects being implemented and planned as well as the challenges faced. "It was followed by a Q&A session and each committee member gave their views, suggestions and constructive feedback.
