Exco Johor, Jimmy Puah berkata, LRA Simpang Renggam terpaksa dihentikan sekali lagi disebabkan peningkatan kandungan ammonia selepas hampir 12 jam ia beroperasi semula.
Jimmy Puah berkata, LRA Simpang Renggam baru beroperasi semula pada 11 malam Rabu lalu.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Perdagangan Antarabangsa, Pelaburan dan Utiliti Johor, Jimmy Puah Wee Tse berkata, LRA Simpang Renggam baru beroperasi semula pada 11 malam Rabu lalu. “Bagaimanapun, selepas hampir 12 jam loji ini beroperasi semula, kita terpaksa memberhentikan sekali lagi pada 11 pagi , selepas mendapati kandungan ammonia meningkat 6.2 partikel per sejuta .
Bagi mengatasi masalah buat sementara di kawasan terjejas, 30 lori tangki air milik Ranhill SAJ di seluruh Johor, termasuk agensi swasta digerakkan ke Simpang Renggam, khasnya sekitar premis kerajaan.
