A Malaysian entrepreneur, Zaim Zaimy of Cabaran Rapi Sdn. Bhd., has successfully entered the Beijing, China export market for tiger prawns through a collaboration with Beijing Xinfadi Zhangxian Network Technology Service Ltd. (Beijing Xinfadi). Starting next year, his company will supply over 300 metric tons of tiger prawns weekly to the Chinese market.
MELAKA: Seorang usahawan bumiputera berjaya menembusi pasaran eksport udang harimau ke Beijing, China melalui kerjasama Beijing Xinfadi Zhangxian Network Technology Service Ltd. bermula tahun depan.
Menurutnya, menerusi perjanjian itu pihaknya akan membekalkan lebih 300 tan metrik udang harimau setiap minggu ke negara berkenaan. “Sebagai permulaan kita akan mengekspor sebanyak 300 tan metrik udang harimau segar dan mungkin akan menambah jumlah tersebut bergantung kepada permintaan daripada syarikat tersebut,” katanya ketika ditemui Utusan Malaysia selepas majlis menandatangani MoU di Ayer Keroh di sini.
