After the drama sparked a debate about double standards and body-shaming, Lizzo said: 'I don't ever want to censor myself because I'm suddenly famous or because everyone's looking at me now.'
But, in a recent Instagram Live, Lizzo appeared to respond to the drama, defiantly saying that she refuses to censor herself just because she's famous."I just want you to know that it doesn't matter what goes on on the internet. Nothing really breaks my joy," she said, later adding,"I don't ever want to censor myself because I'm suddenly famous or because everyone's looking at me now.
"I'm not gonna quiet myself," she added."I'm not gonna shrink myself because somebody thinks that I'm not sexy to them. You really think because somebody on Twitter think that I'm not cute, I'm gonna stop existing?"Before signing off, Lizzo told people to"ignore any negative comments or critiques", calling the people behind them"attention deprived" and"insecure".
