Jim Chalmers to release Employment White PaperTreasurer Jim Chalmers is set to release the Employment White Paper on Monday. “It will have a full employment goal lower than what is known as the NAIRU, the non-accelerating inflation rate of unemployment, which treasury sets at 4.25 per cent unemployment,' Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell said. The paper sets out a path for the government to “drive that figure down,” Mr Clennell said. “We’ve had a long period now with unemployment figures with a three in front of them. “Next week the Home Affairs Minister Clare O’Neil will release the government's migration review. “When it comes to issues like skills training and present labour shortages – the two things are very much linked.”
