WATCH LIVE: We're tracking a severe storm bringing the threat of quarter-sized hail and 60 mph winds.
The next several days will keep"unsettled" weather in the forecast, meaning storms will be possible. While we're not expecting a"major" storm system, the jet stream will be favorable for waves of disturbances bringing periods of showers and thunderstorms.
Even though these rain and storm chances are in the forecast for the weekend, there will be several dry hours too and it will not be a washout. Meanwhile, temperatures will be going up. In fact, Friday's high is expected to be in the low 90s. Weekend temperatures will be well above normal for this time of year.A couple of thunderstorms are possible this evening. A severe storm or two can’t be ruled out with some hail and gusty winds being the main threats.
