Live: Epic NRL finals finish looms as old rivals go right down to the wire

As the dying stages approach, the Storm and the Roosters are locked in a tense battle for NRL survival. Follow live.

Just as the Roosters started getting on the front foot in the 25th minute, they put up an excellent kick that came down right in front of the posts. Centre Corey Allan batted the ball back and Storm hooker Harry Grant reflexively stuck a hand out, tapping the ball up.

He dove to regather but got there on the half-volley. From the high angle it looked a certain knock-on. Referee Ashley Klein had a perfect angle, from right next to the posts, but ruled Grant caught the rebound cleanly. He then gave the Storm a ruck penalty that allowed them to get into the Roosters' half, and Grant created a try for Marion Seve, which is currently the difference in this game.React
