Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will announce the date for the Voice to Parliament referendum in Adelaide this morning.

Doing the media rounds this morning, McCarthy rejected suggestions the Yes campaign had been complacent over that time. She said she had never expected the path to a referendum to be easy.
