After finding the confidence to compete, a little nine-year-old boy living in northern New South Wales is in training to represent Australia at the World Dwarf Games. 9News

He never caught anyone playing tag, never kicked a goal in soccer and never won a race.

His challenges were little things that meant a lot to him and sometimes left him feeling frustrated and lonely."I didn't realise how much it affected him," Jade toldThen Floyd went to a convention for short statured people and everything changed. "He comes running up to me and he has had this beam of light and he was like, 'Mum, I caught them in tag'," Jade said.Mother who lost everything in house fire issues e-scooter battery warning"Then he participated in soccer and basketball and he was like, 'oh my god, I'm good at this'."Floyd Morley and a friend playing basketball.

"It was such a beautiful experience. He comes up to me and he said, 'mum there's so many dwarves, so many little people'," Jade said.At peace and ready to go global, Floyd is now in training for the World Dwarf Games in Germany."If anyone is out there, we're looking for multiple sponsors or one really big sponsor," Jade said."We've got shirts, we want to put sponsors' names on them.

Floyd and his family are promising to show what a small person with a big heart and a huge will to win can achieve.
