ComingSoon is pleased to present an exclusive track from Hawaii Five-O -- Original Series Soundtrack, releasing digitally on July 7.
, releasing digitally on July 7 with music by Brian Tyler and Keith Power. The album from Lakeshore Records is a long-awaited compilation of the best original music from the ten seasons of the CBS series. Hawaii Five-O can be streamed on Paramount+. Listen to the track, titled “I Remember,” below.
“Hawaii Five-O was part of my life for many years and it was always an honor and a pleasure working with everyone on the team. I remember when Alex Kurtzman first mentioned he was looking into rebooting the series I grew up watching on re-runs,” said Tyler. “I simultaneously thought, ‘This is so awesome!” and “I wonder how many episodes we will last?’ We put our all into the show and dove in, so to speak.
Hawaii Five-0 is a contemporary take on the classic series about an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the islands’ sun-drenched beaches. Detective Steve McGarrett, a decorated Naval officer turned cop, returned to Oahu after Hawaii’s former governor persuaded him to head up the new team: his rules, no red tape and full blanket authority to hunt down the biggest “game” in town.
Joining McGarrett are Detective Danny “Danno” Williams, a relocated ex-New Jersey cop who is committed to keeping the islands safe for his children; Captain Lou Grover, who formerly headed Hawaii’s SWAT unit; Jerry Ortega, the islands’ local conspiracy theorist; and Tani Rey, a bold, recent police academy graduate.
