Full details of who died in the attack have yet to be confirmed publicly by authorities and the list is not complete.
But it documents the international scale of the tragedy, with people hailing from across the Muslim world and members of two generations of the same family killed.
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said the list was not “formal” and “will not be until formal identification has been completed”. The victims already in the public domain include 71-year-old Daoud Nabi, who had lived in New Zealand for more than 40 years after fleeing Afghanistan as a refugee in the late 1970s.
