Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has given an injury update ahead of the MTN8 final against Orlando Pirates.One major concern for the Brazilian is the fitness of Lucas Ribeiro. The Brazilian striker limped off in Saturday’s CAF Champions League 2-0 win against Bumamuru and might not be available for Saturday’s final.The 24-year-old scored the only goal when the two teams met last month.Sipho Mbule, Thapelo Morena, and Bathusi Aubaas are out of the MTN8 final.

“There’s a lot of work being done by the medical team and the rehab guys, which is very good from a sports science perspective,” Mokwena was quoted on“We only have serious injuries to Sipho Mbule, Thapelo Morena, Thapelo Maseko [is] doubtful, Aubaas out [Lesiba] Nku is back, Lucas Ribeiro will do a late fitness test, so that is more or less what we have and the rest are okay.
