Lisa Murphy’s terminal cancer prognosis was kept secret from the late model, as her brother told how Lisa was “power walking through Marlay Park” only a few weeks before her tragic death.
“I remember Lisa's still always on hosting mode, ensuring everyone was looked after and we're happy albeit she was the one fighting the battle.” “She never gave an ounce of trouble to my parents on many occasions when Kira and I have maybe been in a spot of bother, Lisa as the sensible older sober sister was always on hand to bail us out.
“Lisa was always on hand to spoil them on every occasion from beautiful designer baby clothes and gifts. But more importantly, her undivided attention, advice, love and famous Aunty Lisa hugs. “Even on the hardest and more challenging times, Lisa fought back every time and never let cancer control her happiness, kindness and carefree nature.”
"Kira, although we know you wouldn't have it any other way. And it was your complete honour to care for your best friend and sister and your third baby. Mum and Dad and I will be forever grateful for that. Her niece Sophia said: “Megan brings up Lisa's favourite pink hat. Lisa loved to wear this, even on one occasion, whilst wearing it, she was asked for ID. Lisa continued and enjoyed telling the story for many months.
“Alanna will bring up Lisa's Louis Vuitton bag. Lisa loved nothing more than getting dressed up and was always effortlessly stylish.”
