Incoming New South Wales Liberal Leader Mark Speakman says the NSW Liberal Party will be “fighting every day” to be back in government by supporting their principles and holding the Labor government accountable.
“We are the party of opportunity, of aspiration and of reward for the initiative – those timeless principles have to meet modern issues, we have to address youth issues, women issues, culturally diverse issues, environmental issues and so on,” Mr Speakman said in a media conference on Friday.
“That’s our job as an opposition, to hold them to account to their promises and to deliver for the people of New South Wales.” “It’s also our job to put forward an attractive alternative government in 2027 … we will be fighting every day to deserve the support of the people of New South Wales to be back in government.”
