The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) has established a dedicated Foreign Taxpayer Branch (CPCA) to handle tax matters related to foreign taxpayers, non-residents, and withholding tax, aiming to streamline administration and improve efficiency.

The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia ( LHDN ) has announced the launch of its Foreign Taxpayer Branch ( CPCA ) on January 1, 2023. Located at Block 8, Kompleks Kerajaan, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim, Kuala Lumpur, the CPCA is dedicated to handling tax matters related to foreign taxpayers, non-residents, and withholding tax. \ Previously, these functions were dispersed across LHDN offices in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Selangor.

The centralization of these services under the CPCA aims to streamline tax administration and improve efficiency. The branch is operational from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, for counter services. E-appointment sessions are also available, from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 4:40 pm, subject to availability, and can be booked through https://ejanjitemu.hasil.gov.my/. \The LHDN emphasized that the CPCA will focus on managing cases related to non-resident entertainers, foreign crews, and international visitors. By consolidating the management of these taxpayer categories, LHDN aims to develop more effective strategies to minimize tax evasion, enhance tax collection, and ultimately deliver a higher quality of service to all taxpayers. The establishment of the CPCA is a significant step in LHDN's ongoing efforts to modernize and optimize its tax operations
