LG Officially Launches New OLEDevo TVs in Malaysia

The focus in today’s launch was mainly on the OLED evo range, along with the brand’s newest and improved technologies for the home entertainment sector. One new piece of technology is its latest ɑ9 Gen6 AI processor, which uses AI-assisted Deep Learning to make the images on the TV display more vibrant, dynamic, and lifelike. Because its display is an OLED panel as well, this means that blacks are deeper, while whites are just pure, blinding boxes of light.

For their OS, the OLED evo lineup still uses LG’s own homegrown OS internally, and not Google’s Android OS for TV. It’s not all that bad, and the TV still provides access to most of the commonly used media apps, such as Netflix and, of course, YouTube, among many others. More importantly, the TVs are also NVIDIA G-Sync certified, have a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz and can boast a response time of 0.1ms, which is impressive for a TV. Further, there is also support for HDMI 2.

Pricing for LG’s OLED TVs starts from RM8,999 for the 55-inch non-evo A series, and RM11,999 for the 65-inch. For the OLED evo C3, the lineup has four models: 55-inch, 65-inch, 77-inch, and 83-inch. Pricing for these TVs start at RM10,999 for the 55-inch, RM14,999 for the 65-inch, RM29,999 for the 77-inch, and RM35,999 for the 83-inch.

As for the OLED evo G3 lineup, the pricing starts at RM17,999 for the 65-inch model, while the 77-inch model retails at RM32,999.
