The latest iteration of the F Sport Mode Black package, known as the F Sport Mode Black IV, will be available with the IS 300 and IS 300h models in Japan. The package features black forged alloy wheels, black side mirrors and window surrounds, smoked chrome accents, Ash wood inserts, and dimpled genuine leather upholstery.
Lexus has unveiled the latest iteration of its F Sport Mode Black package in Japan , known as the F Sport Mode Black IV. This fourth generation of the package will be available with both the IS 300 and IS 300 h models, priced at 5.9 million and 6.35 million yen (approximately RM166k and RM178k) respectively. \The F Sport Mode Black IV models distinguish themselves from the standard IS with a set of forged alloy wheels crafted by BBS, finished in a sleek black hue.
Complementing this are black side mirrors and window surrounds, while chrome accents receive a smoked finish. Stepping inside, you'll encounter Ash wood inserts adorning the door cards and steering wheel, which also features dimpled genuine leather. This leather treatment extends to the gear selector knob. \The heated and ventilated sports seats are upholstered in Ultrasuede, while the eight-inch digital instrument cluster boasts a new welcome display. Standard safety features include rear side airbags and a panoramic view monitor. The IS 500, a high-performance variant, also receives updates with new genuine leather upholstery options in black, white, or red. It shares the black-painted side mirrors with a smoked finish found on the F Sport Mode Black IV models. \The hybrid IS 300h is equipped with an external power supply attachment (AC 100V, 1,500W), eliminating concerns about foreign objects or water intrusion when powering accessories outside the vehicle. The standard IS lineup is priced from 4.81 million to 8.5 million yen (RM135k to RM239k). Powertrain specifications remain unchanged for the F Sport Mode Black IV models. The IS 300 retains its 8AR-FTS 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four petrol engine, generating 245 PS (241 hp or 180 kW) from 5,200 to 5,800 rpm and 350 Nm of torque from 1,650 to 4,400 rpm. An eight-speed Sports Direct Shift (SPDS) automatic transmission channels power to the rear wheels. The IS 300h employs a 2.5-liter naturally-aspirated inline-four engine producing 178 PS (176 hp or 131 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm from 4,200 to 4,800 rpm, augmented by a 1KM electric motor rated at 143 PS (141 hp or 105 kW) and 300 Nm. An electric continuously variable transmission (E-CVT) manages this powertrain, delivering a total system output of 220 PS (217 hp or 162 kW). Lastly, the IS 500, one of the few remaining vehicles to utilize the 2UR-GSE engine, maintains its 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V8, churning out 481 PS (475 hp or 354 kW) at 7,100 rpm and 535 Nm at 4,800 rpm. The same eight-speed SPDS automatic transmission drives the rear wheels
