Pep Guardiola's Manchester City made it four Premier League titles in a row on Sunday as a victory over West Ham helped them see off the challenge from Mikel Arteta's Arsenal
Pep Guardiola led his side to a fourth-straight Premier League title success. That was confirmed on Sunday as an Arsenal victory over Everton wasn't enough to topple City, who ran out as comfortable winners against West Ham on the final day.
Hamilton did not watch the final day of league action live as he was racing in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix at the time. He then had media duties to fulfil and debriefs with his Mercedes team to attend before he could come to terms with the disappointment. On his Instagram story, Hamilton reposted an image of the Arsenal team huddled together on the pitch, which had been originally shared by the club's official account. Alongside that he wrote: "Proud of this team, it's ours next season."
The Spaniard said: "If we do what we have to do, we're going to be closer and at the end we'll win . When, I don't know. But if we keep knocking and being that close, in the end it will happen.
