Recently, I heard that a peace officer was stationed along a bike path at Edworthy Park to fine speeding bicyclists. In a city that has acknowledged our climate emergency, why is it that walkable and cyclable infrastructure is neglected while significant resources are being spent to fine the use of low-emission commuting alternatives?Article content

Regarding the June 9 article: GG treads lightly on colonization, defaced statues, Mary Simon states that this is an issue that requires much discussion ie: talk, but no action. One thing we have seen from the current GG is her ability to spend a lot of taxpayer dollars. I only hope that this issue does not require lavish foreign trips!Calgary City Council launched a sneak peek at the ‘new-and-improved’ Calgary Transit system.
