One reader is tired of receiving dozens upon dozens of return address labels as a thank you for donating to different organizations. Return to sender.CPS Energy’s plans for the Spruce power plants doesn’t take ratepayers into account. Someone has to pay for these plants. Run them until they are paid for and ready to really be retired.

It seems we are cash cows to be tapped at management’s will. Some of us are on fixed incomes and can’t afford the rate increases to pay for the folly of retiring plants years before the original planned date. If we have to have environmental-friendly generation, maybe look into more nuclear power, which is clean. It is cheap when not over-regulated.Some years back, my university sent me 200 gummed labels with its logo and my address on them.
