The big question I always ask is, how people think all these institutions and agencies are somehow capable to conspire together at this level?Avoid history repeatI was puzzled and pained to read that some Texas politicians are advocating citizen arrests of migrants. It seems we have not learned from those agonizing periods when neighbor was asked to turn in neighbor.
If Texas had a 10-day waiting period, the Uvalde shooter would have had to wait after the legal purchasing age of 18. He never would have had the weapons on May 24 and the school year would have ended. If that is not enough evidence to change existing gun laws and add a mandatory waiting period, I don’t know what is.
