An Elgin letter to the editor: I would like to thank Ken Bruderle of Elgin Township for the outing he had for Elgin's senior citizens.
I would like to thank Ken Bruderle of Elgin Township for the outing he had for Elgin's senior citizens. He arranged transportation on a U46 bus, whose driver was very kind and friendly, for about 50 to visit Elgin's museums, of which many of the citizens were not aware.
The staff at the different sites provided information about the exhibits and encouraged us to inspect the different displays. He also had bag lunches for us from the Big Apple Bagel, which were delicious. Thank you, Ken and your staff for making a special day for the seniors.
