Children Liturgy Team together with Sr Mary How from Holy Trinity Church, Tawau made a in Ranggu on Mar 19, 2023. The visit involved 11 facilitators and assistants from Tawau and 40 children from St James, between the ages of seven and fifteen.
The program started with an introduction to the role of the Children’s Liturgy in Tawau and the upcoming program, which is Easter Cards by the children for Tawau Christian Prisoners and the upcoming workshop in November. A brief sharing on “What is Lent?” was delivered by Sr Mary How in Bahasa Malaysia for better understanding. Then, the children of St James were entertained with songs and games.
The chairman of St James, Mr. Thomas Temu and Mrs. Yasinta Sipa Herin were very happy with the visit and urged CL to come visit again to give more exposure to the children there. The program ends with afternoon tea with everyone involved. This annual Tawau Children’s Liturgy activity scheduled for 2020 during the initial phase of the Pandemic was canceled and rescheduled this year.
