Legendary golfer and Pennsylvania native Arnold Palmer will be honored with a commemorative coin if legislation from a western Pennsylvania lawmaker is successful.

Palmer, who died in 2016 at 87, was born in Latrobe, Westmoreland County, where the local airport now bears his name. A U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Palmer won 95 tournaments and seven majors over his career, including four Masters.
