Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda on Tuesday reminded a Foreign Affairs official to come prepared when attending congressional hearings after the latter failed to provide updates on Sentro Rizal-- a government program that seeks to promote Philippine arts, culture, and language throughout the world.
During the Senate hearing on a bill amending Republic Act 10066 or the National Cultural Heritage Act of 2009--the law that established Sentro Rizal--Legarda asked Deputy Assistant Secretary Gonaranao Musor of the Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Public and Cultural Diplomacy to provide her the figures of all Sentro Rizal branches across the globe and to provide an assessment on their projects.
"I'll be patient with all of you. Importante pag pupunta kayo sa hearing alam niyo yung tinatanong ko ha kasi trabaho niyo yan," she went on.
