It has been seven years since Korean superstar Lee Min-ho last visited the Philippines. But his fans did not forget him and made sure the 36-year-old would feel a warm welcome at his pre-event media conference on Sunday afternoon.
'I didn't really notice that time flew very fast and that it has been seven years since my last visit here. I really felt how my fans waited for me here, especially when I arrived last night at the airport,' Lee said, adding that he missed the energy of his Filipino fans.The 'City Hunter' and 'Legend of the Blue Sea' star frequented the Philippines after his first visit in 2012. Besides attending promotions he was also spotted vacationing in Palawan and Boracay.
It's just a shame that I wasn't able to greet them personally but being able see them, I was very happy and I missed that a lot,' he said.The actor, who became a household name in the Philippines via the 2009 Korean series 'Boys Over Flowers,' is in Manila to join SMDC's 65th anniversary celebration on Sunday, October 15. Lee is the developer's global ambassador.
