: Lebih 2,000 individu direkodkan mendapatkan rawatan gangguan mental setiap tahun di klinik kesihatan di seluruh Selangor sejak 2020, persidangan Dewan Undangan Negeri diberitahu hari ini.
“Antara faktor gangguan mental tersebut adalah genetik dan personaliti seperti tahap ketahanan mental yang rendah menyebabkan individu sukar menguruskan cabaran hidup. Beliau menjawab pertanyaan Sallehen Mukhyi mengenai kes gangguan mental mengikut daerah dari 2020 hingga kini serta strategi kerajaan menangani masalah tersebut.
“Ini disebabkan keengganan individu yang terkesan dengan kesihatan untuk mendapatkan akses kepada perkhidmatan kesihatan disediakan kerajaan. Rasa malu dilabel sebagai kurang siuman, mental, gila adalah senario biasa ditemui,“ katanya.
