LEBIH 1,000 kakitangan kesihatan terdiri daripada jururawat dan pegawai perubatan yang sudah bersara kembali berkhidmat di barisan hadapan bagi memerangi Covid-19, kata Kementerian Kesihatan hari ini.

“Kami mengalu-alukan mereka. Ini adalah jangka pendek, jadi kami bekerjasama rapat dengan mereka tetapi perlu melihat kepakaran mereka juga,” kata Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah. “Apa yang kami mahukan ialah mereka yang mempunyai kepakaran dari segi pengalaman bekerja di ICU,” katanya.Beliau berkata jururawat berpengalaman daripada kumpulan itu akan dikerahkan ke hospital Covid-19.

“Kami juga sangat fleksibel. Sebagai contoh pakar kami hanya boleh bekerja selama dua hari dalam seminggu, kami meletakkannya di bawah sessional. “Sessional bermaksud sumbangan 10 jam kepada Kementerian Kesihatan,” katanya sambil menambah kementerian juga menawarkan kontrak enam bulan bagi mereka dari hospital swasta yang ingin berkhidmat kepada kerajaan. – 13 April, 2020.
