Upko urged the Pakatan Harapan (PH) parliamentary seat distribution negotiation committee to give priority to Upko’s candidate for the Kota Marudu seat.

Kota Marudu Upko Secretary Jamius Bisara said based on the party’s strength and support, they are able to shoulder the responsibility to contest the seat in the 15th General Election .“As a local party, we are more qualified to compete in the area where 85 per cent of the population is from the Kadazan, Dusun, and Murut communities,” he said in a statement, Thursday.
