“Phrases like ‘Don’t be sad’ or ‘It’ll be okay’ may be well-meaning, but can feel dismissive,” she said.Sharing grief, finding strength Post-audio producer Darna Aminuddin, 46, shared how the session helped her father after her mother’s passing.“I suggested counselling, but he refused.“Hearing others’ stories helped him realise he’s not alone. Since then, I’ve seen him lighten up.“I’d recommend this to anyone, even if you haven’t experienced grief, it prepares you for when it comes.”
