The singer and TV personality has reversed his position on the referendum in the space of a week, saying his earlier position was “flippant” and “uninformed”.

“I spent nearly three hours with them and I got a better understanding of what’s going on in the referendum,” he said in an interview explaining his startling U-turn.Loading “I didn’t object. I didn’t say I wasn’t an Indigenous person, so the girl and I sat and ate our sandwiches.”
