Now you can have the platform do the search for you. 🙃 Lazada LazzieChat TechNave
If you've been to e-commerce platforms and felt lost, you're not the only one. Searching for what you need isn't always easy, but there are ways to make it easier. For Lazada, artificial intelligence is the solution.
Recently, Lazada Group announced the addition of LazzieChat to its e-commerce platform. As you may have suspected, this name is a reference to ChatGPT. Lazada has combined ChatGPT with Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service to its platform, resulting in an AI chatbot that can answer your shopping queries. This feature will be accessible to Lazada customers from Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
So, how does it work? Well, LazzieChat works much like ChatGPT. You type prompts or queries into a text box, and the system returns some results. For example, you can search for"top smartphones under RM1500" and see a list of smartphones under that budget. In Lazada's example, LazzieChat provided a basic skincare routine with a list of relevant products.
Although the feature isn't available for Malaysians, we can expect it to be added to Lazada Malaysia eventually. With that said, what do you think about this feature? Are you looking forward to AI-assisted shopping? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
