A lawyer and president emeritus of the Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. has been appointed deputy commissioner of the Bureau of Immigration
Deputy Commissioner Laogan also took his oath of office before Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remulla at the Department of Justice to which BI is an attached agency. The new BI deputy commissioner had served as a member of the board of directors of the Development Bank of the Philippines from 2010 to 2016.
