The NRL has banned a spectator indefinitely for racially abusing South Sydney superstar Latrell Mitchell. 9News
following an investigation into the incident, but now the NRL has come down hard.
In a statement released after the NRL's, Penrith said the club supports the decision to ban the abuser. In the immediate aftermath of the ugly incident, the Rabbitohs and Panthers spoke strongly against the comments made to Mitchell.None was stronger than South Sydney coach Jason Demetriou, who called for a life ban.
