KOTAKINABALU: Those who miss travelling abroad or airport atmosphere can consider patronising a newly opened warehouse-like Bistro named ‘‘Airport in Shanghai 1950’’ in Kolombong, near here.

Kota Kinabalu: .Run by young businessman Sunny Yeoh, and his wife, Samantha Yapp it is the second after ‘’Airport Bistro Lounge’’ in Plaza 333 which opened during the Movement Control Order and lockdown period. “I used the ‘Airport’ concept as a brand name and the idea came to me during the pandemic, MCO and lockdown period where people could not travel or go abroad. I also created a passport system in my two airport bistro businesses.

“We have four different dances everyday such as cheongsam dance and a famous dance during Shanghai time called as ‘Can Can Dance’ which was an European dance because at that time, Shanghai was taken over by Europe and the Chinese culture had the Western influence,” he said.
