Winston led a Bears trio in double figures with 16 points, adding six rebounds, five steals and a block. Amugu finished with 12 points, all in the second half, as well as two steals. Amyah Weathersby amassed 10 points and eight rebounds, keeping the Bears within 19-17 at halftime. Gray gave the Lions the edge before halftime, answering Weathersby three-point play with a three-pointer, followed by a contested shot inside. Ahnia Bolton helped Taylor to an early 8-4 lead, sinking a three as part of a nine-point night.
