The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority and the Federal Road Safety Corps, Lagos Sector Command have formed a joint task force to address the incesant truck crashes on Ojuelegba Bridge and other road accidents in Lagos State.
This was disclosed by the General Manager, LASTMA, Mr Bolaji Oreagba, when he received the new Sector Commander of FRSC Lagos, Corps Commander Babatunde Farinloye, and his team at his office.
“Sequel to the need to prevent further loss of lives and properties through truck crashes on Ojuelegba Bridge, LASTMA had deployed trained officers to be redirecting heavy-duty trucks/tankers from Ojuelegba Bridge at Ikorodu Road,” Oreagba added.
