The Las Piñas City government was awarded by the National Nutrition Council-National Capital Region (NCR) with a certificate of recognition for having the “Most Improved LGU Performance' in its nutrition policies and programs.
The Las Piñas City government was awarded by the National Nutrition Council-National Capital Region with a certificate of recognition for having the “Most Improved LGU Performance" in its nutrition policies and programs. The award was handed over to Vice Mayor April Aguilar during a ceremony held at the Las Piñas City Hall quadrangle.
Aside from the award received by the city government, City Nutrition Officer Dr. Julio P. Javier II, was named as a 2022 Regional Outstanding Action Officer runner-up. Vice Mayor Aguilar thanked Javier for his dedication in promoting the best programs to combat malnutrition in the city. The vice mayor said the Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office distributed first aid kits to all offices at the City Hall which they can use in case of emergencies.
Aguilar said the DRRMO conducted trainings to city hall employees to equip them with proper knowledge to respond to emergencies last July.
