The Las Piñas City government awarded land titles from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to 200 families from the Villa Coastal neighborhood association housing project on Thursday, April 27. ManilaBulletin
Vice-Mayor April Aguilar led the awarding of titles held at the Madrigal covered court in Barangay Daniel Fajardo.
Aguilar said the awarding marked a significant milestone for the beneficiaries after occupying the lot since 1990. She said the awarding provides the beneficiaries with security and stability that come with owning their own land. Aguilar emphasized the importance of land ownership as a means of reducing poverty and improving living conditions.
