The Las Piñas City Health Office (CHO) conducted a family planning caravan to raise awareness on family methods and promote responsible parenthood in the city. | ManilaBulletin
Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the caravan was held at the barangay covered court in Alamanza Uno on Tuesday, June 6.Aguilar said that the sessions provided valuable insights into various family planning techniques, emphasizing the importance of making informed decisions regarding family size and spacing pregnancies.
To further support the attendees in practicing responsible parenthood, the CHO also distributed free contraceptives. Aguilar said the attendees were given access to a variety of options, including condoms, birth control pills, and injectable contraceptives. She said the city's comprehensive approach to family planning aimed to empower individuals and couples with the necessary tools and knowledge to exercise their reproductive rights responsibly.
