“I sat down, right, with a glass of wine and I saw all the yellow jerseys running up and down and was like ‘Go girls! Wow, while they’re really putting the pressure on the Swedes, aren’t they?Kylie said she was stunned that Larry didn’t realise the Matildas wore two different coloured jerseys - yellow and aqua blue - during their World Cup games.
“I’ve just spent like 10 minutes explaining it to you, that Sweden are yellow and blue and we had the alternate strip,” she said.He added: “Anyway, I thought we were going great?”Credit:The popular host went on to admit it was only when he saw Mary Fowler’s name on an aqua jersey that he realised his error.
“I saw Fowler on a blue jersey and I thought ‘What the hell is going on here? Have they got a Fowler as well?” Larry said.
