Upon their arrival, officers located a man who had been armed with a machete and had attacked someone in the parking lot of a McDonald’s.
The suspect then ran away from them into the nearby Sagebrush Cantina restaurant and, during a confrontation, the officers opened fire on the suspect outside of the restaurant, striking him, Eisenman said.
