The logo for the Asean - Malaysia Chairmanship 2025 was installed at the Langkawi International Convention Centre in Langkawi , Kedah. The Asean Foreign Ministers' Retreat, which commences this Saturday on the holiday island, will officially mark the beginning of the Asean meetings under Malaysia ’s chairmanship. Throughout this year, Malaysia will host over 350 major meetings and programmes, nationwide, all centred around the theme of ‘Inclusivity and Sustainability’.
Among the travellers were a significant number of government officials, identifiable by the emblems on their shirts, hinting at the importance of their visit. "Welcome to naturally Langkawi," the cabin crew’s voice resonated, echoing the essence of this breathtaking destination. "This archipelago of 99 naturally wonderful islands is rich with culture and steeped in legends and folklore. A preferred destination by travellers the world over, Langkawi is also Southeast Asia’s first Geopark,” the crew went on.
