With Memorial Day and summer vacation around the corner, Landa Park in New Braunfels offers 51 acres of attractions and activities to enjoy, from swimming, to a train ride, to picnicking, to miniature golf, all within a 36-mile radius of San Antonio. If you decide to take the drive up Interstate 35 to take a dip in the cool, refreshing waters of the Comal River or enjoy a picnic lunch, here a few things to know about Landa Park before you go.It is free to enter the park, which includes several parking spaces. Individual picnic spaces, single tables with grills, are available throughout the park on a first come, first served basis, with park rangers collecting a $25-per-picnic-space fee in season from non-New Braunfels residents.
