For this upcoming election, Lancaster County had an issue with the instructions on their mail-in ballots.

If someone made a mistake on any other part of their mail-in ballot, the county would not allow for ballot curing. He said there is a sequence of events the county’s board of election goes through to try and verify all the ballots are correct. “I would very much prefer the state legislator would go back and look at act 77 and say ‘yes, you get three days of pre-canvassing, or everybody’s exterior envelope has to look like this across all 67 counties.’ But were a Commonwealth, we don’t do it that way,” Trescot said.
