Menurutnya, selepas 27 tahun berkhidmat, beliau telah memberikan seluruh 'jiwa dan raga" bagi membangunkan institut tersebut.
Yang hadir sama, Timbalan Pengerusi NIOSH K. Gunasegaran, Pengarah Eksekutif NIOSH, Ayop Salleh dan Setiausaha Eksekutif NIOSH, Mej. Hanif Maidin. "Lebih membanggakan, NIOSH mampu berdikari dalam aspek kewangan apabila berjaya menjana pendapatan untuk mananggung operasi termasuk membayar gaji dan bonus untuk kakitangan setiap tahun," katanya lagi.
