You can choose to pay for the Lalamove Ride service by using cash or credits from the built-in e-wallet inside the Lalamove app.
It has been quite sometime since the Malaysian e-hailing market received new players. All of sudden, this month saw Lalamove Ride and Between the two new outfits, Lalamove Ride appears to be a more basic than Bolt. Not only that the user interface of Lalamove app is much more rudimentary, Lalamove Ride only offers sedan cars at the moment while Bolt already has 6-seater and premium vehicles.for new users. I can’t seem to find any offers for Lalamove Ride although take note Lalamove does have its own loyalty program called Lalamove Rewards.
It might be too early to talk about their pricing competitiveness since both outfits have just launched their e-hailing service. Nevertheless, a quick comparison at around 6:49 PM today for the route from our office in Bukit Bintang to Suria KLCC showed that Lalamove Ride costs much lower than Bolt.
