Two people were found shot to death inside a vehicle by Lake City police on Monday.
Police say they found the victims around 10:45 a.m. at 258 NE Hernando Avenue. The victims had gunshot wounds and were inside a silver car. They have not been identified.
The Lake City Police Department is investigating the incident alongside the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. “I can say we feel safe in saying there is no threat to the public from the perpetrator of this crime,” Chief of Police Gerald Butler said.STAY UPDATED:
