LAHAD DATU: The police on Saturday revealed that the Lahad Datu student found dead with injuries and bruises yesterday had been beaten to death after he was accused of stealing money from his hostel mates.
Police in a press release said Mohammad Nazmie Aizzat Muhd Narul Azwan had been accused of being responsible for the disappearance of RM50 and RM35 from two students."We have detained 13 students of the college aged between 16 and 19...the Magistrate's Court has allowed for the suspects to be remanded for six days until 29 March 2024,” police said.
