The Nation Newspaper Lagos residents groan as flood ravages Eti-Osa road
Residents of Orchid Road in Eti-Osa Local Government Area ofare urging local and state authorities to address the persistent flooding issue that has plagued the area for years.
“The issue of flooding has severely affected us, and despite being aware of our plight, the government has done nothing for years,” she lamented.The perennial flooding problem has not only hindered residents’ daily lives but also crippled local businesses. Adeyemi also pointed out that some residents contribute to the flooding by obstructing potential drainage paths with their activities. He called for stricter measures to ensure that drains, if they exist, are kept clear of debris.
